Production
I forge carbon steel and low alloy steels into blades, and moreover I make my own Damast (pattern welded) and Wootz(crucible steel). Wootz, being an ancient indo-persian technique of producing high-carbon steel, caught my interest due to my persian origin.
For handles or slabs I use high-quality natural materials like bone, stag, mammoth tusks, and beautiful wood.
Every necessary production stage is exclusively performed by myself: forging, heat treatment, grinding and hand-finishing, making ferrule, guard, and handle. In effect, each knife and each sheath is completely hand-made.
For ethical reasons I refrain from using such materials that animal life is destroyed for. |
